Hack the Town
Hack the Hood is thrilled to announce our upcoming two-day community code event, Hack the Town, in partnership with Google Play!
Hack the Town invites young coders of color, ages 16-25, to join us in a supportive, hands-on environment where you’ll work in teams to conceptualize and code creative apps from scratch, earning cash prizes along the way! The winning team will get the unique opportunity to further develop their app idea for deployment on Google Play, with support from Hack the Hood and a community of tech mentors.

Hustle Graduation Summer 2022
We're so proud of our learners for completing our Hustle program, where they've learned the fundamentals of Python, Github and core skills in software development. These graduates successfully balanced lectures, career exposure panels, video tutorials and peer-to-peer learning and completed 12-weeks of our Tech4Justice curriculum.

It's Lit! Fireside Chat with Winslow Holmes

2021 Fall Graduation
Come join us in celebrating our learners at our Fall 2021 Graduation on Thursday, December 2nd from 11:00 - 12:00 pm PST.
Our learners have completed 8 weeks of Python or JavaScript fundamentals, developed an understanding of front/back-end web development, built relationships with a peer community, relationships with experts in the field while discussing the social justice aspects of technology and how it relates to our lives and communities. Let's show our learners some love and support in community.
